General Terms and Condition

By using our website, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms also apply to the supply of all transportation services and other service bookings requested via the website (https://www.decadence-chauffeurs.com), email info@decadence-chauffeurs.com, or telephone via +44 (0)1895312819

 

  • Decadence Chauffeurs is registered in England and officially licenced by Transport for London as a Private Hire Vehicle Operator (license no: 0097270101).

  • Our acceptance of your reservation implies that you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions; and governed by the laws of England.

  • Online booking requests are not guaranteed unless the request is confirmed to the Client by Decadence Chauffeurs via telephone or email

  • Decadence Chauffeurs request a minimum of 2 hours’ notice for most bookings.

  • If you would like to book a car with less than 2 hours’ notice – Please call our Booking line +44 (0)1895312819

  • You will receive the name and phone number of your driver 60 minutes prior to pick-up time.

  • The only amount of luggage you are allowed is the amount agreed upon selection of vehicle class and size. Extra luggage will come with extra charge. Decadence Chauffeurs have the right to refuse luggage which was not agreed upon or cannot be fitted inside the vehicle boot.

  • For airport or train-station pickups, your driver will wait for 60 minutes free of charge. On furnishing your flight or train number upon booking, your driver will track your actual arrival time and adjust your pick-up time accordingly. Your driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals area with a name board with your name and our company logo.

  • Our chauffeur will always offer to help carry your bags and luggage that are within the legal limits of manual handling weight and size. They reserve the right to refuse to carry any luggage/bags that may compromise their overall wellbeing.

  • We have baby and child seats available at no extra charge. Please provide the weight of the child and type of seat required when making your booking. You will have to fit these yourselves according to the law.

  • All our cars have WI-FI, bottled water, newspaper/magazine, refreshing hand towels, a selection of sweets, radio, connectivity, and a wide selection of genre of music on board. Please ask the driver if you wish to have music on in the vehicle, and if you have any specific music request, please specify when booking the vehicle.

  • All our cars have First Aid kits on board and all our chauffeurs are trained to use these if ever required.

  • Our wedding cars are booked on a time basis and are available to you throughout the duration of your wedding and are available for photos or anything else we can help you with during that time, including multiple journeys for other wedding guests. Should additional time be required this is normally no problem and you will be charged an hourly rate for each part hour.

  • The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits, and all our chauffeurs are not permitted by UK Laws to use a mobile phone whilst driving.

  • Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order.

  • By supplying your email address, you permit Decadence Chauffeurs to contact you via email, in return we promise never to supply your email to any third party.

  • Decadence Chauffeurs and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s).

  • Decadence Chauffeurs maintains a strict non-smoking/vaping policy in all its vehicles.

  • All our chauffeurs are courteous, professional, respectful and discreet, and will respect your privacy and confidentiality at all times. If the client would like to talk or ask questions, then the chauffeur will happily respond. All our chauffeurs have signed confidentiality agreements (non-disclosure agreements) with Decadence Chauffeurs and what is said in the car, stays in the car.

 

Booking Transportation Services

  • Decadence Chauffeurs are a TfL licensed private hire vehicle operator. As such, we only accept booking requests for chauffeur-driven travel directly from our clients/passengers. Our chauffeurs are not licensed to accept a booking request. Please only book via our website booking request, email: info@decadence-chauffeurs.com or by telephone: +44 (0)1895312819

  • The contract for all bookings is between the client/passenger (i.e: the company or person booking and paying for the transport service) and Decadence Chauffeurs. Decadence Chauffeurs is responsible for both accepting the booking as well as the provision of the transportation services.

  • Decadence Chauffeurs only accept payments directly. Our chauffeurs never collect fares.

  • Any liability in relation to the transportation services belongs to Decadence Chauffeurs.

  • When a booking is sub-contracted between licensed operators, the contract
    with the operator who initially accepted the booking will remain in force in the usual way.

  • Decadence Chauffeurs reserve the right to cancel any booking with a passenger. All bookings are subject to availability.

 

Payment and Deposits

​

  • All payments for regular bookings are due in full at the time of booking. All prices are inclusive of VAT charged at 20%.

  • Wedding bookings 50% deposit with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the booking event.

  • We accept most major credit/debit cards at no additional surcharge.

  • At extra cost, we are more than happy to provide any extras and special requests such as champagne, flowers, chocolates, whatever you desire, we can provide. Fill out the contact form or call our office to discuss your booking with absolutely any special request.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

​

  • Decadence Chauffeurs cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances i.e. traffic delays, accidents, severe weather conditions or any natural disasters.

  • If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.

  • If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 12 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.

  • If a wedding booking is cancelled within 1 month from the start of the period of hire, the deposit will be non-refundable. If a wedding booking is cancelled within two weeks from the start of the period of hire, the full hire amount will still be charged to the customer.

  • If multiple vehicle bookings are cancelled by the Customer for any major social and business events, within 5 days from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.

  • If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all monies paid will be non-refundable.

  • Any cancellation must be made via email info@decadence-chauffeurs.com from which you will receive confirmation from us. If you do not receive an email your cancellation request has not been received. In that case please contact our office line on +44 (0)1895312819

  • Refunds are made directly to the Client through the same means of original payment.

  • Customers Statutory right are not affected by anything contained in these terms and conditions.

Lost Property

​

  • Decadence Chauffeurs vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and Decadence Chauffeurs shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.

  • Decadence Chauffeurs will keep a lost property book at their office and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s) or subcontracted vehicle(s) to the customer as quickly as possible.

  • When reporting lost property, please provide a detailed description and include any unique characteristics rather than giving a generic description such as ‘set of keys’ as this would help expedite your enquiry. Mobile phone enquiries require either a SIM card number or IMEI number, which can be obtained from your airtime provider.

Consumer Rights

​

  • Decadence Chauffeurs consumers have legal rights in relation to services that are not performed with professionalism and a duty of care, either by our chauffeurs, or our office team. Advice about the legal rights of consumers is available from:

Complaints

​

  • We sincerely hope we never give you any cause to complain about our services but improving our service is very important to us, and we would appreciate your feedback. We aim to respond to all complaint judiciously and as quickly as possible.

 

Data Protection and Privacy

​

  • Decadence Chauffeurs guarantees its customers that all their personal data remains safe and private. Any personal data that customers supply to Decadence Chauffeurs upon booking by, online request, email or phone will be used by Decadence Chauffeurs in accordance with its privacy policy only.

  • Decadence Chauffeurs do not store any credit card data.

  • Decadence Chauffeurs uses the services of third-party payment processors. Decadence Chauffeurs is not responsible or liable for any errors by these payment processors.

 

Cookies and Privacy

Promotion Terms

​

  • Decadence Chauffeurs may provide promotional rides or rewards from time to time. Decadence Chauffeurs is free to delete promotional rides or rewards from customers personal or business accounts, if there is reason to suspect fraud.
